Sells new and second hand boats on behalf of the owner. Finds potential buyers and manages the entire sale, earning a commission from the owner.

Qualifications:
Sales training, specific broker qualifications.

A good understanding of boats, good sales skills and excellent customer services skills.

Marine Architect

£25,000 - £55,000

Creates and designs concepts for all types of boats, from small personal craft to large Superyachts. Plans all parts of the boat from the outward appearance to complex ventilation systems.

Qualifications:
Advanced training in Engineering, Drafting and Computer Aided Design is required as well as a Marine Design or Engineering Degree.

Experience Required:
Relevant experience and related Degree.

Insurance Broker

£20,000 - £65,000

As an Insurance Broker, you will act as an intermediary between your clients, who can either be individuals, commercial businesses, organisations or insurance companies and will offer products from more than one insurer to ensure that your clients get the best deal.

Qualifications:
Relevant Degrees include: Business Studies, Finance and Surveying. You will usually need 2 to 3 A Levels, or equivalent for a Degree.

Experience Required:
It will help to get some relevant work experience whilst your studying.

£14,000 - £30,000

Administration assistants give support to offices by organising meetings, typing documents, updating computer records, replying to emails, filing and taking phone calls.

Qualifications:
2 or more GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A+ to C). Apprenticeships are available in Level 3 Business Administration.

Experience Required:
Volunteering and previous Admin experience along with basic IT skills.
