Game Changer is a £3.1 million project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and European Social Fund (ESF), designed to support 1035 young people aged 15 to 24 across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Initially running until November 2019, the project has secured an extension until November 2021.
Cornwall Marine Network works with the marine sector to innovate and strategically work towards a step change within the sector by working with young people. We practically influence and enable employers to create and increase the range of interactions and opportunities for young people to explore the sector and create pathways to employment and careers.
Game Changer is a programme to support young people aged 15 to 24 who are not in education, training or employment to overcome the complex challenges they face; understand their individual aptitudes, passions and interests; develop skills and experiences. The project gives young people exposure to a range of sectors and we are the sector lead for marine.
