TEVI and ExeterMarine invite you to join them to discuss the marine environmental growth opportunities in Cornwall, where they’ll be discussing the state of the marine environment and how we can make it better.
The University of Exeter wants to actively work with stakeholders in Cornwall and beyond to identify and develop opportunities to stimulate marine environmental growth, as set out in Cornwall’s Environmental Growth Strategy.
The event will take place on the University of Exeter Penryn Campus on the 1st August – refreshments and lunch will be provided.
This is predominately a business-facing event which aims to:
1. Boost an understanding of the state of Cornwall’s marine environment and how businesses can protect and grow it;
2. Increase awareness of the county’s Maritime Strategy and how it links to the Environmental Growth Strategy;
3. Identify specific challenges that they could take forward as Tevi Challenge Networks (they will do deep dives into invasive species, recreational boat maintenance, end of life material management for recreational boats, recreational boat washing, ecological moorings, as well as coastal flooding resilience).
