CMN is excited to announce it will be a delivery partner of The Global Blueprint Programme – an intensive one-to-one workshop series coordinated by International Trade Matters.

The programme relevant for business leaders at any stage in their journey from start-up/recovery to domestic development, to growth across international markets.

International Trade Matters considers that any company wishing to approach new markets has to be sure of its own capabilities before it looks overseas. In the current, volatile and uncertain marketplace, companies cannot afford to make mistakes when looking for growth. Equally, they cannot be complacent about the requirements for compliance. International trading is like any other skill – at first it looks complicated, but by understanding the trading requirements for your service or product, the skills will evolve. Assessing and minimising the risk of entering new markets is fundamental to sustainable success, so time spent in considering the separate steps to take is time well spent.

This programme is delivered online over 16 hours to develop an international strategy based on capacity, competency and capability to meet projected demand in the current volatile trading environment. To establish international credibility, our specialist will work with a small number of senior directors and managers. The creative and innovative 4-stage mapping process will result in the creation of a Tactical Roadmap to a specified market – one that is the ‘right fit’ for the organisation. This will outline the roles, responsibilities and time frames to access an overseas market.

Our 5 day special programme includes 16 hours of strategic analysis and planning, two half-day sessions of bespoke training and a further 16 hours of Export Manager services from an international trade specialist.

The company will benefit by having;

  • A clear strategic vision of which country to approach
  • A dynamic visual management map
  • Enhanced or improved skills in importing and exporting
  • Connections for further support, advice or training
  • A template for further expansion
  • Ongoing support for 2 months
  • A Certificate of Completion

Delivery is blended between online sessions and in-person training. The programme costs £4,500 in total, and CMN can subsidise the modules by 40% under the ESF Employer Led Skills programme which would reduce the costs to £2,700 for employers who are eligible for funding. CMN can also facilitate a range of half day courses for up to 15 participants per session.

Balancing supply and demand will diminish some of the inherent risks in overseas trading. Depending on levels of risk, delegates will be offered a choice of bespoke training – usually two half days sessions.

Finally, and especially for CMN delegates, attendees will have the benefit of 8 hours each month for two months with an International trade Specialist providing Export Manager services. This level of support will allow for mentoring of staff, advising on procedures, answering queries or even helping with recruitment.
