Struggling with recruitment? - New Skilled Worker Visas

Many of our member business and the wider Marine sector are struggling with recruitment. The government has launched the Skilled Worker Visa. A Skilled Worker visa allows potential skilled workers to come to and stay in the UK to do an eligible job with an approved employer with Marine Engineers and Welders as examples of those skills listed as a priority.

This new initiative replaces the Tier 2 (General) Visa, and is the main UK immigration route for non-UK resident workers.
