Hugh Mattos
Position: Director
Hugh Mattos is the owner and Technical Manager of Explorer Marine, which specialises in the manufacture of custom RIBs and the servicing, storage and support of customers boats and engines of all types. Hugh is also an Associate Lecturer for Bridgwater College where he has taught University level courses in Sustainable Engineering, Engineering Dynamics, Aerodynamics, Composites, Science and Maths.
Hugh studied Mechanical Engineering at University College London, has worked as an engineer for 40 years, and is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, professionally registered with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (C.Eng. M.I.Mech.E.).
Explorer Marine was one of the first businesses to join CMN and Hugh now works as a Volunteer Director to ensure the Network continues to support its members in the best possible way.
