Sustainability: What does it mean for you and your work place?

Are you meeting your own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs? In short, this is the definition of sustainability. This Level 1 accredited course will help you discover more about sustainability, ways to improve it and understand the barriers we all face now and in the future if nothing is done. You will investigate current, real-life issues, relating them to your workplace, your home and where you live. This course is a great starting point for you and your business to take a step in the right direction, learn from others and come away with new ideas on how to become more sustainable. What you will cover: Three pillars of sustainability, renewable energy sources, ways to conserve natural resources, human impact on natural resources. SUSTAINABILITY: natural resources (renewable & non-renewable), environmental and economic challenges, practical solutions businesses can implement, pre & post sustainability audit of your company. This course will be delivered over 2 half-day sessions and is offered at a discounted rate of £50 exc. VAT (subject to eligibility).
