Details of standard
CMN has collaborated extensively with the Early Years Sector specialists TLC to develop the current delivery model of the Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship, designed by TLC in partnership with the childcare industry.
Having drawn extensively upon the expertise provided by TLC, in their position at the heart of the childcare sector, CMN is able to deliver this Apprenticeship standard.
Occupational profile
Early Years Educators, and other job roles such as nursery nurse and childminders, are highly trained professionals who play a key role in ensuring that young children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.
Duration
The apprenticeship will typically take 18 months to complete.
Level
This apprenticeship standard is at Level 3.
Entry Criteria
We are looking for high quality candidates with good interpersonal skills and preferably Maths and English GCSE/Functional Skills.
If Level 1 English and Maths have not already been achieved, these will be studied alongside the main Apprenticeship.
Knowledge and Skills – Development, attachment, influence, support, physical development, encouragement and much more.
Behaviours – care and compassion, honesty, trust, positive work ethic, commitment and professional practice.
A Personal Development Programme will also be undertaken.

Progression onto higher level Early Years training is available.
