Overview

What is “sustainability”?  What does it mean to you?  What does it mean for your workplace?

It is more important than ever that everyone has a greater understanding of how they can become more sustainable, not only at home but in their workplace as well.

This Level 1 accredited course will help you discover more about sustainability, ways to improve it and understand the barriers we all face now and in the future if nothing is done. You will investigate current, real-life issues, relating them to your workplace, your home and where you live.

This course is a great starting point for you and your business to take a step in the right direction, learn from others and come away with new ideas on how to become more sustainable.

Delivered over two half-days, entirely online, this course will take a look at the natural resources available to us (both renewable and non-renewable) and the environmental and economic challenges we face as we endeavour to embed sustainability both at home and in the workplace.

Participants will be introduced to the practical solutions businesses can implement, renewable energy sources, ways to conserve natural resources and the impact humans have on them.

Learners will leave the course with both an understanding of the three pillars of sustainability and the skillsets needed to act as individuals at home and at work.
