Overview

Taking on more responsibility in a team isn’t just about becoming the boss. It’s about leadership, learning to understand your team and getting the best results. To achieve this requires a new range of skills. This course helps participants to make the transition from team member to an efficient and respected supervisor.

• Exploring the value leadership models offer to emerging managers
• Testing our thinking against case studies of behaviours
• Evaluating the consequences of our actions
• Looking at facets of an effective leader
• Identifying the 6 critical skills that will help to shape a leadership style
• Ways to deal with performance issues with team members.
