Summary We are seeking a motivated/enthusiastic Apprentice Fabricator to join our team at Penzance Dry Dock. This apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the shipbuilding and ship repair industry. You will gain hands-on experience in welding, fabricating components, working with welding/forming equipment. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you’ll do at work Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Analyse plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of welding assignments/techniques. Utilise power presses, punches, and other welding and forming equipment. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
