We proudly offer nothing but the very highest standard of mooring, marina and general marine services available within Fal River, Carrick Roads, St Mawes, Percuil River, Truro River, Helford River and beyond. We are looking for a key team member to join our crew and work closely to our customers’ requirements whilst providing the very best service possible. Roles and Responsibilities: Safe operations aboard work vessels, pontoons, foreshores and quaysides Stock handling and preparation Reporting to the skipper/supervisor Applying the company’s procedures and methodology when carrying out maintenance work Key Requirements: Applicants must be good team players Applicants should have a strong work ethic with the ability to work safely but swiftly Good interpersonal skills with both customers and the general public – first impressions count! If successful in securing this position, you will join the team primarily working afloat carrying out mooring maintenance. This includes inspection, reporting on and replacing mooring components as required, using the company’s processes and approaches which will be explained and demonstrated through onsite training. You would be expected to work well as part of a wider team during marina and pontoon maintenance as well as general marine services, which may include active and supportive roles. The role also includes the routine maintenance and upkeep of the company work site, vessels and associated equipment to ensure efficient and smooth running of operations ashore and afloat. A clean driving license and the ability to travel locally using a personal vehicle or company vehicle (as available) is desirable but not essential to this role. Experience of working in the marine industry would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided. Potential career development opportunities will be explored as the successful applicant develops into the role and formal training and certification covering aspects of the wider role will be made available, as required.
