We are looking for a Seasonal Maritime Assistant to work in St Ives Harbour covering the summer season up to 30th September 2021.  You will be required to work 37 hours per week covering five days including weekends.  However, there will need to be some flexibility to meet the needs of the service. This role, under the supervision and guidance of the St Ives Harbour Master, will be responsible for the efficient and effective administration, operation and control of St Ives Harbour in accordance with statutory requirements, Council policies and necessary commercial considerations.  This is an interesting and varied post and we are looking for an enthusiastic person who can show a genuine interest in working within a marine environment. You will be required to demonstrates some prior knowledge and understanding of the maritime industry and previous experience of undertaking other maintenance tasks within the marine environment would be an advantage.
