Seasonal weekend Patrol Officer
Cornwall Councils Maritime Section are looking for a Seasonal Patrol Officer for Truro & Penryn Harbours and Malpas Marina.  To work on a rota system covering shifts on Saturdays and Sundays working alternate weekends. The usual hours of work are 8 hours on both days starting at 0800hrs to 1600hrs with some flexibility to meet the needs of the service.  Following your working weekend, you will also be required to attend a Team Briefing on Monday morning at 09.30, lasting for approximately one hour. This is a fixed term contract to cover the summer season – May to September.  You will ideally have marine related qualifications such as an RYA Competency, Boatman’s Licence, RYA short range certificate, First Aid certificate, etc. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent customer care and knowledge of the local waters would be an advantage. A uniform will be provided.
