Cim Alto Minho is a local authority in the north of Portugal and the lead partner of the Erasmus Plus-funded Atlantic Youth project. CIM Alto Minho is active in the promotion of the maritime economy with a particular focus on promoting watersport activities and the maritime culture and heritage. As part of the Atlantic Youth project, CIM Alto Minho drives the involvement of local marine businesses in the promotion of the marine environment as a resource to protect and a potential career path. Cim Alto Minho organises the transnational mobility of Portuguese students and will host a residential marine education programme for 120 students in May 2020 that will include students from Cornwall.
