Projects partnered on: Atlantic Youth
Clare County Council in Ireland is a partner of CMN’s Cornwall Marine Academy in the Erasmus Plus-funded Atlantic Youth project. Clare County Council encourages young people to engage in physical activity with a particular focus on marine-based outdoor activities. As part of the Atlantic Youth project, Clare County Council supports the involvement of local marine businesses in the promotion of the marine environment as a resource to protect and a potential career path. Clare County Council organises the transnational mobility of Irish students and organised the project’s first residential marine education programme for 120 students in May 2018.
