Falmouth School of Sailing – ADDITIONAL COURSE DATE ADDED – 10% off RYA Day Skipper/RYA Competent Crew Practical Course – 27th July – 1st August

Due to high demand, we’ve added an additional sailing course at the end of the month. Whether you’re a complete novice aiming to achieve your RYA Competent Crew certificate, or you’re ready to take the next step and work towards your RYA Day Skipper qualification, this course is the perfect opportunity to build your skills and confidence on the water.

The RYA Competent Crew course is an ideal introduction to cruising under sail. It’s perfect for complete beginners or those looking to become active and valuable crew members on board a yacht.

In contrast, the RYA Day Skipper Practical course is designed for individuals who wish to develop their skills and confidence to safely skipper a yacht during daylight hours in familiar waters. Please note that prior experience is required – either completion of the RYA Day Skipper Theory course or equivalent knowledge. A basic understanding of sailing and navigation is also highly recommended.

The course cost is usually £740. For CMN members we are offering a 10% discount making the course price just £666.

Accommodation and Meals: Participants stay onboard the yacht during the course. Breakfast and lunch are provided daily throughout the course. Evening meals are provided for four out of the five nights, with one night reserved for dining out at participants’ expense. Cooking roles are shared among the crew, fostering teamwork and a sense of camaraderie
