Red Ensign Brokerage are looking for a talented individual to join our successful team at our office in Pendennis Marina, Falmouth, as an Assistant Yacht Broker. The successful candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude and approach to this diverse role. The role would suit a candidate looking to establish or further develop a career within the marine sector, with good potential to progress their role within the business. Key responsibilities will include: Handling all parts of the boat sales process from enquires, listings and viewings through to negotiation and contracts Continue to develop the Red Ensign brand by increasing revenue and reputation Receiving and managing telephone and email enquiries The role will involve regular travel to visit the surrounding marinas and boatyards, and some national travel to view various boats The successful applicant should have :- Excellent customer service, communication and people skills Proven Sales & marketing experience Strong working knowledge of boats Strong organizational and time-management abilities Creativity and commercial awareness Previous experience within the marine industry This is a part time role with hours expected to average 20 – 30 per week to include weekend working. The hours will change depending on business demand and has capacity to increase if the opportunity arises.
