Join us for an inspiring and transformative event dedicated to advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. With a focus on accessibility for individuals with physical disabilities and neurodiverse workers, this event will highlight the profound impact of fostering an inclusive environment, not only for the workforce but for the broader community.
Our event will showcase success stories and best practices, demonstrating how businesses can positively influence societal well-being.
- Discover the intersectionality of promoting workplace equality and social sustainability as we delve into strategies to break down physical and social barriers.
- Learn how fostering accessibility benefits not only individuals but also contributes to a thriving and interconnected community. Our event will showcase success stories and best practices, demonstrating how businesses can positively influence societal well-being.
- Understand the unique geographical, social, and economic barriers to inclusion and accessibility that Cornish businesses face.
A range of speakers on the day will share their success stories and best practices, demonstrating how businesses can positively advocate for, and influence societal well-being.
In addition, delegates will be greeted to an optional tour of the accessible watersports centre and an organised group swim, before networking over a warm cuppa in the main centre overlooking the lake.
Come be part of a dynamic exchange that champions EDI, and the businesses paving the way in creating an interconnected and sustainable future for all.
This event is fully funded by The Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF), which Cornwall Marine Network is a delivery partner of. The LSIF will provide investment in new facilities and equipment, fund the development and delivery of new courses and curriculum, and support excellence in college leadership, governance and teaching to create a sustainable approach to addressing local skill needs. This follows the publication of employer-led Local Skills Improvement Plans last August, bringing business and education closer together.
