Overview
What is Carbon Literacy? Why is it important?
Designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to progress to vocational study, in any sector, and take what they learn with them back to their workplace, this course offers an opportunity to develop essential sustainability skills.
This two-day course will help individuals to learn more about sustainability, the difference between “Net Zero” and “Carbon Neutral”, and how to measure the carbon footprint at home, within the community, and within a product.
This course is a great starting point for participants to become familiar with sustainability and its ever-increasing importance in the environments around us. Participants will leave with all the knowledge they need to be able to conduct a carbon footprint audit for the environment they work in, and also to identify changes they could make as an informed decision towards decarbonisation at home and in the workplace.

Learning Experience
This course, including all activities, will be delivered flexibly and entirely online without any need to come to a classroom.
You will benefit from a Course Tutor/Assessor who will provide academic guidance throughout your training, from beginning to end. Your Tutor/Assessor will comment on the discussions held and provide feedback on all tasks and activities throughout.
