Overview

What is Sustainability?  What are Green Skills?  How do you embed these into school curriculum?

With sustainability becoming increasingly more popular as a topic, it is more important than ever that everyone has a greater understanding of what it means, and what it takes to be sustainable/green.  It is as equally important that school staff have just as much training in sustainability and green skills as the students they teach.

This short online session will help teaching staff learn more about sustainability, how it can be linked and woven into school curriculum (both KS3 and KS4), and how to approach the implementation of sustainability and green skills within the culture and practice of the school as an environment.

This course is a great starting point for you and your school to become familiar with sustainability and its ever-increasing importance in the environments around us.  Participants will leave with all the knowledge they need to be able to begin the process of embedding sustainability within the sessions they teach, and also within the environment they work in.
