Careers and Enterprise Programme

CMN’s specialist staff team, supported by a network of local industry voluntary marine ambassadors, work with young people, parents and teachers to promote marine careers and deliver industry-led programmes that equip school leavers with the right skills and understanding of key issues to meet employers’ current and future needs.

With support from the Careers & Enterprise Company, Cornwall Marine Network staff is working with 18 secondary schools across Cornwall over the 2019-2020 academic year to attend marine careers fairs, organise student visits to local marine businesses, give insight and experiences into marine careers, present talks to schools and run marine experience activities.
