Additional Restrictions Grant from Cornwall Council is due to be released Today
The grant will open for just 10 days so please apply when the link goes live this morning
The Additional Restrictions Grant scheme will see up to £11.5 million available for businesses in Cornwall who are not eligible for other forms of financial support but have been forced to close or are severely impacted during the third coronavirus lockdown from 05 January 2021 available for the following groups:
- Open to any business who has not yet been supported, including self-employed, businesses who so far have fallen through the cracks, maximum £10k per grant
- All businesses mandated to close who do not pay direct business rate grants, example quoted was a B&B house
- Larger businesses forced to close with a rateable value of more than £51k, Hotels were an example given
- Supply chain businesses severely impacted by the pandemic, examples included training businesses, suppliers, service companies but not solicitors or accountants
The policy for this Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) scheme and the application form on who will be eligible is being put in place and the application form and full details of the policy will be available on the Council’s website http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/BusinessSupportGrant on Wednesday 20 January 2021.
