Calling all Marine, Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction & Retrofit businesses in Cornwall & Isles of Scilly to influence future skills delivery in the county for your sectors.
The goal is to ensure businesses and employees have the skills they need to thrive and progress. The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is leading a project to create an employer led plan to address the issue.
This is called the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) which has been formally commissioned by the Department of Education to conclude with an employer led set of actionable recommendations. So this will create change!
January Focus Groups – There are both in-person (at St. Austell Conference Centre) and online options.
As part of the project, the FSB are starting with a series of Marine, Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction & Retrofit focus groups in January.
As a Marine Network, we would really like to see our members feed into this important project, so if you are in one of these sectors, please register your interest for the most appropriate event for you.
Please feel free to share this invitation with any suitable contacts.
Cornwall Marine Network will be also attending these sessions so let us know if you’ve booked and we will see you there.
Please visit https://lnkd.in/eDeGfuQe for details of how to get involved with all focus groups and events.
