Falmouth Powerboat School – Last-Minute Availability – RYA/MCA Advanced CoC Exam Prep – £304.

2 spaces have become available on our RYA/MCA Advanced CoC Exam Preparation course, running this Friday 2nd – Saturday 3rd May.

This 1.5-day course fine-tunes your practical skills ahead of the Advanced CoC practical exam. Our instructors will focus on any areas of concern to ensure you’re confident and ready. The exam will follow after taking approximately 4-7 hours.

The course cost is usually £380 so to CMN members this will be just £304 + the exam fees of £286.

Exam Pre-Requisites:

  • Knowledge to RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Theory level

  • Sea time on a seagoing powerboat in the last 10 years:

    • 30 days at sea (or 20 with an Advanced Powerboat certificate)

    • 2 days as skipper

    • 800 miles (or 400 with an Advanced Powerboat certificate)

    • 12 night hours

Further Requirements:

  • Minimum age 18

  • Marine VHF/SRC or higher radio certificate

  • Valid Marine First Aid certificate

  • Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
