Falmouth School of Sailing – RYA Offshore Personal Survival Course (RYA/World Sailing)

We still have spaces available on our next RYA Offshore Personal Survival (RYA/World Sailing) (formerly ISAF) Course running from Wednesday 24th – Thursday 25th June.

Course Benefits:

Meets World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations Section 6.01
Suitable for Category 0, 1 and selected Category 2 offshore races
Combines theory with practical sea survival training
Provides internationally recognised certification
Ideal for offshore racers, yacht delivery crews and ocean passagemakers

Course Structure:
Day One
RYA World Sailing Offshore Safety: Half-day course focusing on safety precautions and procedures aboard yachts operating in open waters.
Day Two
RYA Sea Survival: Classroom-based theoretical session followed by practical training using life jackets, and inflatable life rafts in a swimming pool.

£285

Compliance:
This comprehensive course meets the eligibility requirements of Section 6.01 of the World Sailing (formerly ISAF) Offshore Special Regulations for Category 0, Category 1 and selected Category 2 offshore races.
