- The priority is for Cornish residents not currently in employment, education or training – eager to pursue a career in marine, digital or construction industries.
- There can also offer places to personnel in local companies.
How to Apply:
Please apply ASAP with an expression of interest that includes; delegate name, preferred course and just a few words on how it will support career progression. Courses are fully funded but will require your company to complete admin (on MFA – Minimum Financial Assistance) in short order.
Available training courses are:
- Working at Sea 101. Two-hour overview at noon on Mar 12th at 12 Noon, led by Cornwall Marine Network . Click here to reserve Your Place
- STCW Personal Survival Techniques (PST). 1-day course in Falmouth on 24th and/or 26th March.
- For full STCW, potentially also:
- STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR). Half-day course in Falmouth
- STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA). Half-day course in Falmouth
- STCW Elementary First Aid (EFA). 1-day course in Falmouth
- STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF). 2-day course in Falmouth
- RYA Powerboat Course-Level 2. 2-day course in Falmouth
- Python Essentials. Self-led course over several weeks to develop coding skills
- Level 1 Health and Safety in Construction. 1-day course, St Austell
- Level 2 Working at Height. Half-day course, St Austell
- Level 2 Health & Safety. 1-day course, St Austell
- Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work. 1-day course, St Austell
