Kernow Industrial Fund
The KIGF programme focuses on using public funding to enable and unlock wider investment, rather than acting as the primary source of funding. This includes attracting private and institutional investment into Cornwall and supporting projects that can deliver long-term economic impact.
The fund will prioritise projects that can:
- Deliver transformational impact within Cornwall’s distinctive sectors
- Unlock or leverage additional investment
- Contribute to productivity, job creation and sector growth
- Align with Cornwall’s Good Growth Plan and national priorities
The total value of the fund is £30 million.
Made Smarter
Made Smarter supports manufacturing SMEs to become digitally ready and adopt the latest technologies, from automation and data systems to advanced manufacturing tools, with fully funded expert support, training, and the opportunity to apply for a grant of up to £20,000.
National Materials Innovation Programme: Feasibility studies round 2
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £2 million for feasibility studies. These studies aim to speed the translation of advanced materials innovations in three prioritised high growth themes and one strategic opportunity theme:
Advanced manufacturing supply chain innovation: CRD funding competition
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £6.5 million for collaborative industrial research to make supply chains more productive, resource efficient and resilient.
Projects must apply one of the competition themes to at least two of the advanced manufacturing frontier industries identified in the Advanced Manufacturing Sector Plan and involve an end-user.
