Help shape the Great South West Marine and Maritime Strategy
The Great South West is partnering with Maritime UK SW alongside Cornwall Marine Network to help scope the priorities for the region’s marine and maritime economy including how the South West can contribute to the Government’s top priorities, including increasing inward investment and exports, establishing the country as a science superpower, and transitioning to net zero.
Paul Wickes – CEO at Cornwall Marine Network has been speaking this morning where stakeholders have come together to discuss priorities.
In the interests of obtaining a diverse set of views, in particular from organisations that were unable to travel or allocate time to the event, we would like to offer the opportunity for CMN member organisations or individuals to submit their opinions and ideas in writing.

The Great South West is a Pan-Regional Partnership covering the counties of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset. It aims to promote the region’s ‘blue and green’ assets, as part of its ambition to become the ‘UK’s Natural Powerhouse’, and the first region to become net zero.
