This invitation to bid is for business and enterprise investments that support development and growth of CIoS strategic and distinctive sectors and unblock growth challenges in core sectors.

Project delivery timeframe: April 2025 – March 2026

Minimum grant award: £200,000

Application deadline: 5pm on 27th January 2025

They would like to see projects that take advantage of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly’s unique strengths and untapped potential enabling the distinctive and core sectors to grow, seize new opportunities, contribute to net zero, and increase high-quality, well-paid jobs.

Key sectors targeted for investment:

• Critical Minerals: Harnessing sustainable extraction and processing in Cornwall.
• Renewable Energy: Innovations in floating offshore wind, deep geothermal, and biomethane capture.
• Data, Space and Aerospace: Exploiting our physical, digital, and intellectual assets to address local and global challenges.
• Marine: Including emerging FLOW opportunities and decarbonising shipping and associated activity
