Overview
Devon Multiply is funded by the UK Government and is part of the Skills for Life campaign. The project will work with employers and support the numeracy and maths upskilling of Devon’s workforce. The project will end on 31st March 2025.
Numeracy and maths courses can help your staff to build confidence and improve their ability to understand and use maths in daily life, at home, and at work.
Course content
Making the Most of Maths is a series of focused 2-hour sessions designed to equip participants with essential mathematical skills that assist in day-to-day tasks outside of work and enhance employability skills for the workplace.
Through these topics, participants will learn how to handle everyday financial calculations, measure and estimate with accuracy, and analyze data effectively. These skills are not only crucial for personal tasks like budgeting and home improvement projects but are also invaluable in professional settings, enhancing problem-solving abilities and boosting productivity.
Approach mathematical challenges with confidence and competence, and contribute to a more efficient and effective workplace. By developing these core skills, participants will improve their employability, ensuring they are better prepared to meet the demands of their roles and contribute meaningfully to their organisation.
