Cornwall Marine Academy CIC were thrilled to be announced as the Future Skills Award Winners at Thursday night’s National 2025 Maritime UK Awards, this is the second time the Academy has been recognised for its valuable work inspiring the next generation in Marine and follows the 2024 Coastal Powerhouse win for Cornwall Marine Network.

The award recognised CMA’s tangible contribution to meeting the future skills needs of the sector, delivering pioneering activity across education, training and apprenticeship development and delivery, matching available skills to the emerging and future requirements of the industry.

It was also night of celebration for Cornwall as network members, The Isles of Scilly Steamship Company (ISSC) picked up the Business of the Year award for excellence, innovation, and exceptional achievements in the Maritime industry.

This prestigious accolade was presented to ISSC who showcased outstanding business performance, strategic vision, and a dedicated commitment to advancing the Maritime sector in the United Kingdom.
