Following CMN’s win at last year’s Maritime UK awards for the prestigious Coastal Powerhouse Award, we are delighted to be again announced as Coastal Powerhouse finalists for 2025, a true testament to the dedicated CMN team and our world class leading sector here in Cornwall. The news came alongside Cornwall Marine Academy, that has been shortlisted for the Future Skills award and Network member, Isles of Scilly Steamship company who are finalists for Business of the year.

The Coastal Powerhouse Award celebrates maritime businesses, charities, organisations, or groups of any size, who demonstrate exceptional leadership as catalysts for growth within coastal communities. Through values, passion, and visionary initiatives, recipients are transforming their communities into Coastal Powerhouses. This award celebrates and acknowledges their significant contributions, bringing well-deserved recognition to their endeavours

In 2025,CMN delivered 13 events to over 850 members, business leaders and policy makers which culminated in a 3 day summit in November, our range of services and support for the sector continue to grow as we near the landmark of creating over 5000 jobs in the marine Industry across our history.
