This year Cornwall Marine Network celebrates its 20th anniversary of delivering support services and growth to the marine sector in Cornwall.
Earlier this week we brought together our members, partners and staff for a special event hosted by the Royal Navy at RNAS Culdrose to look at some of those achievements and to celebrate our world class leading sector.

The Story so far:
Over £500 million added value to Cornwall’s economy
CMN is the biggest employer-owned marine support cluster in the UK and Europe
Every £1 won competitively turned into £11.90 of added value
One Job created on average EVERY DAY, for 17 years
3,750 Young People gained vocational work experience through our members
810 unemployed people supported into jobs
1,550 NEW APPRENTICESHIPS
3,565 NEW JOBS created
Volunteer Marine Ambassadors from 105 member businesses
Over 35,000 Young People aged 14-16 received careers advice
Over 8,750 marine employees trained, more than half of the Cornwall workforce
£42 Million of funds won and invested in member support and grants
We have an extensive range of services available to marine businesses and our network continues grow and work together to strengthen the supply chain, innovate, develop and continue to support marine sector growth with mentoring, training and skills.
