Atlantic Youth
Atlantic Youth is a 3-year project run in collaboration with transnational partners and schools, which facilitates access to marine activities for Year 7 to Year 10 pupils. By working with schools locally, the project aims to make more young people aware of the marine environment as a resource to protect and enjoy, and as an exciting career path.
Atlantic Youth is an Erasmus + Strategic Partnership in the Field of Education, Training and Youth project that involves 5 countries: Portugal, Spain, France, England and Ireland.
The objective of Atlantic Youth is to develop and value maritime and inclusive educational initiatives at school. This includes 3 transnational maritime education events for young people in collaboration with secondary schools, and a conference about maritime education.
Cornwall Marine Network is partnered with Comunidade Intermunicipal of Alto Minho (Portugal, project leader); Patronato Municipal de Deportes of Ayamonte (Spain), We Atlantic (France), Centre de Moulin Mer (France), Cornwall Marine Network (United Kingdom), Clare County Council (Ireland).
