South West Lakes Trust

South West Lakes Trust is the charity which manages the lakes and reservoirs in the South West for public benefit and enjoyment.

We have three Outdoor + Active Centres in Cornwall; Stithians Lake near Redruth, Siblyback Lake near Liskeard and Tamar Lakes near Bude.

At the centres we offer sailing, windsurfing and kayaking plus multi-activity days including climbing and archery for individuals, families, friends and other groups.

We have fully qualified instructors for tuition and also hire equipment such as surf skies, Canadian canoes, stand up paddleboards and rowing boats, along with dinghies and windsurfs.

Try the cycle paths at Tamar Lakes and Siblyback Lake and the mighty 30 ft High Ropes Course and the first full cable wakeboarding system in Devon and Cornwall.

For those interested in wildlife watching and conservation many of the reservoirs and lakes host valuable habitats and endangered species.
