British Stand Up Paddleboard Association represents the sport of stand up paddleboarding (SUP), the world’s fastest growing watersport, within the UK. BSUPA provide structured training and coaching schemes, individual & club based membership, and both regional and national competitions. BSUPA’s flagship event continues to be The National Championships held at Watergate Bay.
BSUPA works closely with government and non-government agencies, AALA, ROSPA, RNLI and with Sporting Governing Bodies, such SLSGB, BKSA & Surfing GB, to share knowledge and develop safe working practices for training centres.
Since being founding in 2007, BUSPA now over 400 Instructors and 40 affiliated clubs and training centers. BSUPA offer a range of instructor training courses so that novices can be introduced to the sport safely and enjoyably and allowing for their development of further skills.
BSUPA is a Not for Profit Ltd Company and is recognized by Sport England as a sporting association representing Stand Up Paddleboarding within the UK.
