Located on Falmouth’s Discovery Quay, National Maritime Museum Cornwall celebrates the unique maritime heritage of Cornwall and how the sea has shaped history and culture. The Museum houses 15 galleries across five floors of interactive exhibits.
The Museum’s permanent and temporary exhibition programme brings new and diverse perspectives to maritime issues and collates rare objects from around the world that tell local, national, and international stories.
Discover tales of ocean adventure and survival, climb the 100-foot Lookout Tower, watch boatbuilding, go underwater in the Tidal Zone, and sail miniature boats on the boat pool. The scenic Waterfront Café serves delicious treats overlooking one of the best views of Falmouth Harbour.
